Baby Archie pictures: How baby Archie is the spitting image of this young royal

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie Harrison made his first official royal outing yesterday. The four-month-old looked adorable as he cooed in his mum’s arms during a historic meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Royal fans were delighted to see little Archie out and about in Cape Town and many reckon he is a dead ringer for this close family member.

Baby Archie stole the show as he joined his parents on the third day of royal engagements in South Africa.

The Sussexes are in Africa for a 10-day tour and Prince Harry parted ways with Meghan and Archie yesterday following their moving meeting with anti-apartheid campaigner Desmond Tutu and his daughter.

Royal fans swooned over footage of little Archie who was dressed in blue and white striped overalls which quickly sold out online.

The little royal cooed and giggled throughout tea with the Archbishop and his daughter Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe and even appeared to eye up the cake stand.

Little Archie’s button nose and tufts of red hair make him unmistakably similar to his father, Prince Harry, at that age.

Photos of baby Prince Harry taken at Highgrove in 1985 show Archie is dead ringer for his father.

Like little Archie, Prince Harry is dressed in blue and white stripes in the photos both babies wear the same inquisitive expression.

Archie is still just four-months-old and royal watchers will be eager to see how he changes as he grows.

Baby Archie was back with nanny for the rest of yesterday’s royal engagements.

As Harry headed Botswana, Meghan visited the Woodstock Exchange to meet female entrepreneurs working in technology.

The Duchess also dropped in on mothers and babies at The Mothers 2 Mothers organisation that works to train and employ women living with HIV as frontline health workers.

Meghan donated some of Archie’s clothes which he had outgrown to the charity.

They included some white vests, one bearing the words “The Future” and another with the Invictus Games logo.

Today Meghan will take part in a Women in Public Service breakfast and Prince Harry will join school children in Botswana where they will plant trees.

Harry will also visit Angola and Malawi on the coming days before reuniting with Meghan and Archie in Johannesburg for the final days of the tour.
